In this systematic review of 9 trials, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) and coenzyme Q10 (but not multivitamins) were generally associated with improvements in chronic fatigue syndrome.

The study
Three of the 3 randomized controlled trials that administered NADH (10–20 mg/day) improved fatigue (the primary outcome).
In the 6 trials, (4 randomized controlled trials and 2 before-and-after studies) that included coenzyme Q10 supplementation, 4 trials reported improved fatigue levels. The dosages of coenzyme Q10 ranged from 72 to 400 milligrams per day; the trials that found no improvement in fatigue used dosages of 72 or 150 milligrams per day.
Fatigue levels improved in 1 of the 3 trials (2 before-and-after studies and 1 randomized controlled trial) that administered a multivitamin.
