Has lemon balm been studied for teeth-grinding?

Lemon balm has been minimally studied for teeth grinding; a 2016 trial in children showed no significant effects after 1 month of treatment. Overall, the research on its efficacy for this issue is not promising.

There is very little human research, and it is not promising. A single 2016 randomized controlled trial in children with sleep bruxism (grinding teeth while asleep) didn’t find any effect after a month of lemon balm tincture.[1]
