Average serum vitamin D levels were 3.68 ng/mL lower in the participants with fibromyalgia than in the participants without fibromyalgia.

A trend towards lower ferritin levels was also observed among participants with fibromyalgia, but the levels of vitamin B12 were similar between individuals with and without the condition.
